New to Oakdale Baptist?

Let’s get acquainted.

Service Times

Currently, we meet twice on Sunday. Our morning service and evening services are dedicated to clear, biblical preaching and involve congregational singing. Visitors are welcome in either service.

We have chosen to move out midweek Bible-study to on online format. If you are interested in participating, please call or email the  church  for an invitation to join.

  • Sunday Morning Service 10:00 am
  • Sunday Evening Service 5:00 pm

Location

Oakdale First Baptist Church is about a mile from the intersection of interstates 494, 694 and 94. We are in a quiet neighborhood of Oakdale, MN, just to the east of the Twin Cities and about fifteen minutes west of Hudson, WI.

Who are we?

We are an established Bible-believing church that preaches the whole truth of God’s word, regardless of the latest philosophical trends, politically correct ideas, or cultural preferences.

Our church has had a testimony of proclaiming Christ in our community for decades, and we continue in that testimony today by proclaiming the unchanging, inspired, infallible, and living Word of God—the Bible.

Pastor Ronnie Boyd has been our Senior Pastor since 2014. He and his wife, Jennifer, bring a significant amount of practical ministry experience from both staff and layman positions.

What to Expect

What are services typically like?

Every Sunday service starts with a congregational hymn (usually accompanied by a pianist), and a few announcements. We then listen to a forty-minute lesson straight from the Bible!

How long are services?

Morning services are usually about fifty to sixty minutes long.

What kind of clothes will people wear?

Pastor Boyd and those serving wear a suit and tie, but our congregation dresses fairly diversely—from casual to semi-formal. For example, you wouldn’t stand out if you wore a pair of jeans and a polo shirt or if you wore a suit and tie.

Where do I park?

We have a parking lot in front of the church for you to use. If the parking lot is full, you can also park along the street.

What about my kids?

Although we don’t have specific ministries for children, they are always welcome in the auditorium. If your baby is crying, we have rooms available downstairs with live-audio of the service.

Do you have any questions?

We’d be happy to help answer questions you might have about OFBC. Call us at 651-739-9362, email Pastor Boyd at pastor@oakdalebaptistmn.com, or fill out the contact form below to get in touch.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

What to Expect

What are services typically like?

Every Sunday service starts with congregational hymns accompanied by a pianist. This is followed by announcements, a time for members to support the ministries of the church through tithing, and more congregational singing. The speaker will then teach straight from the Bible.

Our Wednesday night services start with a congregational hymn and a time of prayer for special requests, our church family, and our missionaries. Afterwards, we have a brief Bible study.

How long are services?

The Sunday morning and evening services are usually 70 minutes long. Wednesday night services by nature are usually a little longer than that, around 80 minutes.

What about my kids?

Currently, we have Sunday School classes for children, teens, and adults. Although we don’t have any specific ministries for children during the rest of our services, children are always welcome in the auditorium. Alternatively, we have cry rooms available downstairs with live-audio of the service available.
